Our Feature Film The Makeover has been selected for the Cannes Independent Film Festival screening on Saturday May 15th. 2010. This will be our World Premiere Screening of The Makeover written and directed and produced by the owner of Australian Film Base Colm O’Murchu. The film will be released in the cinema later this year.

Hi, My name is Colm O’Murchu.

This year (2010), I will complete two feature films “The Makeover” and “A Day in the Life.”. The Makeover is one of my own passion films that I wanted to make for some time.

I have taught film making since 1997 so I am very experienced at teaching film. In that time, I have seen so many of my former film students go on to establish film careers. I have seen many of my former students make numerous films and TV programs. One of the greatest buzzes for me, is to hear about the great success of former film students who are now established film makers.

I have a simple philosophy about teaching film. Learn to make films in the shortest possible time and then produce and direct them.The best film school of all is “Go out and make your film now” I will tell you everything about the making of my two recent films.
