Synopsis

The Elixir is the story of a man in search of his soul, working in a job he hates, living a materialistic lifestyle with more debt than assets. Peter Collins feels every bit the prisoner caught in a social life of drugs, sex and fun nights out with his friends.

He witnesses an incident involving his boss George Geddeon who psychopathically beats a woman in a road rage incident.

After the incident, Peter decides to make a stand. Peter puts himself and his friends in jeopardy. Peter is the sole witness and decides to testify in a court case against his boss, the very dangerous George Geddeon.

Geddeon attempts to bribe Peter but to no avail. He then decides to intimidate and play dirty tricks on Peter. He violently attacks Peters friends. In a twist of fate Danny, his best friend commits suicide. Peter resolves total revenge against his former boss George Geddeon.

With increasing danger, Peter goes to war against George. In a court case finale, George uses every bit of dirty tricks and lies to destroy Peter Collins. Peter manages to outsmart George Geddeon in the final day of court proceedings. This is a story about acknowledging what stands in the way of a person moving forward in their life and having the courage to change it. It also explores how certain people thrive under pressure and others fall apart and how a strong person finds their soul through adversity.
